Upcoming events for Beta:

 

 

This Thursday we will be hosting Meicher & Associates at 7pm in UC 259B.  The topic for this meeting is Valuation, Litigation, Divorce, and Damage.  The dress for the speaker meeting will be business casual.

 

Just as a reminder, Business casual is a button up shirt or sweater, slacks, skirt or a dress and dress shoes.  No cargo pants, jeans, tennis shoes, etc.

Invitation from Virchow Krause: Spend a Day with VK (see attachment)

I would like to take the chance to introduce myself to you as well as introduce Virchow, Krause & Company, LLP.  My name is Melissa DuBois, and I work as the Recruiting Coordinator here at Virchow Krause.  Our company is a regionally based CPA firm with office locations in Michigan, Illinois, Minnesota, and throughout Wisconsin.  With over 1,300 employees and 150 partners VK is the 15th largest CPA firm in the United States (according to the Public Accounting Report's "Top 100 of 2007"). As an opportunity to identify the best people we are hosting our 4th annual a "Spend a Day with VK" program.  This is an outstanding networking event that allows students like yourself and your chapter members to learn about VK, what we have to offer you, and also gives you the chance to meet and talk with several VK associates; everyone from partners to current interns.  Our Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, and Southfield offices are specifically targeting Consultants at their Spend a Day with VK event.  I am asking for your help in passing this information along to your members so that each of you will have the opportunity to apply and attend this outstanding event.  The deadline to apply is the end of May so I would truly appreciate anything you are able to do to help me market this event.  Please let me know if there is anything additional I can do to help you get the word out.  I look forward to hearing from you and to having members of your organization attend "Spend a Day with VK".
