Upcoming events for Beta:
 
There will not be a meeting this Thursday. 
 
NEXT Thursday we will be hosting Strohm Ballweg at 7pm in UC 266.  The topic for this meeting is The 3 Commandments of Interviewing (Yes-Only 3!) .  The dress for the speaker meeting will be business casual.
 
Just as a reminder, Business casual is a button up shirt or sweater, slacks, skirt or a dress and dress shoes.  No cargo pants, jeans, tennis shoes, etc.
 
 
 
A little about the firms:
 
Gary Strohm and Doug Ballweg formed Strohm Ballweg, LLP in 1999 with a vision of creating a one-of-a-kind audit firm dedicated to serving the insurance industry.  In 2004, Russ Denk became the third partner of the Firm, and on January 1, 2008, Tom Dawson became the fourth partner.  They now have over 65 years of combined experience in the insurance arena.

Beta Golf Outing




Attention All Beta Members:
 
The UW-W Beta Golf Outing is coming up quick!  This letter especially goes out to all members in their internships right now.  The golf outing will be held on Saturday, April 26th at 9:00 am at Evergreen Golf Club in Elkhorn  (more details to follow closer to the event to all attending).  There is also a picnic following golf in Starin Park at noon.  If you are only gonig to the picnic, you need not reply to this email.  For those of you already signed up at one of our meetings, you also need not reply to this email.  If you are currently in an internship and would like to partake in this event please respond with your intentions.  If you know that you will be or will not be golfing with your respective firm please note that in your reply.  All replies can be sent to me at baumgartbt26@uww.edu .

Tomorrow Monday March 3, 2008, we will be hosting a joint meeting with IMA and FA hosting Kohler Company in Heidi 101 at 6:30.  the dress for the speaker meeting will be business casual.
